Co-Rec Adult Kickball League
Here is your chance to relive the fourth grade once again by playing Adult Kickball - compete in a league, with rules, officials, and if you want, a place to picnic after the game. There is even playground equipment for your children.
The Eden Prairie Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with the Hopkins/Minnetonka Recreation Department to offer an adult kickball league. Games are played at Hopkins Central Park (101 17th Ave S) and Hopkins Burnes Park (301 2nd Street N) and Hopkins Oberlin Park (11597 Oberlin Road). Just a ten minute drive across the border!
Kickball is much like co-recreational softball. You play with 10 players on the field, with at least half of them being female. You may have as many people as you want on your roster, with an unlimited number of players on offense (aka kickers, you just need to alternate men and women kickers). This program will follow the official World Adult Kickball Association rules with special local amendments. Game rules will be distributed with the team registration form. Please Note: No professional kickball players may join this league.
Seven weeks of games are played on Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings. The entry fee will include one ball for your team. The winning team will receive individual t-shirts, acknowledging this great accomplishment.
Fee: $220/team
Maximum teams per night: 8
Registration Deadline is May 1, 2011 (or when full)
