COUNTY ROAD 61/FLYING CLOUD DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
This project proposes the reconstruction of County Road 61/Flying Cloud Drive from Highway 101 in Chanhassen to Charlson Road in Eden Prairie.

The purpose of this project is to maintain and preserve the Bloomington Ferry Bridge by replacing strip seal joints, strengthening shoulders and making traffic flow improvements on the HWY 13/101 ramp to northbound 169.

RIVERVIEW ROAD
A portion of Riverview Road will close Wednesday, June 12 for approximately 30 days. The new portion of the road will include curb and gutter, storm sewer and a trail within the right of way on the north side.

SHADY OAK ROAD
The City of Eden Prairie in coordination with Hennepin County, MnDOT, and the City of Minnetonka is in the process of developing plans for the improvement of Shady Oak Road (County Road 61) between and including the interchanges of Highway 62 and Highway 212.

SOUTHWEST LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT
The proposed Southwest Light Rail Transit (LRT) line is a high-frequency train that will connect downtown Minneapolis to Eden Prairie through St. Louis Park, Hopkins and Minnetonka. The Southwest LRT line will connect to other rail lines (Hiawatha, Central and Northstar) and high-frequency bus routes in downtown Minneapolis, providing access to the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, Mall of America, the State Capitol and downtown St. Paul. Five transit stations are proposed to be located in Eden Prairie.
